Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, every year. This is a holiday that is celebrated mainly in the United States and Canada, observed as a public holiday, to thank God for everything you have with your loved ones. One may sit down with a great meal, turkey and all, or one may go to church and thank God while the services for everything.
Thanksgiving became a holiday and reason to celebrate back in November 1621 when Governor William Bradford hosted a celebratory feast after the Pilgrims' first corn harvest was proved successful, and invited a group of the nascent colony's Native American friends, including Wampanoag chief Massasoit, after that day this day is held and commemorated as Thanksgiving, the day to thank everyone who makes you live worth-living and especially God.
